Why doesn't any politician just come out and explain why he/she voted a certain way? BE HONEST! Not everyone will agree. But at least explain your reasoning and move on. Quit pandering to every group and promising something different in every venue.

Didn't he do that? He's saying that the intent they thought he had is not the intent he actually had, and he's clarifying his position and assuring them that the lies the media spreads about Republicans being racist is simply not true.

Either he believed there was election fraud or he didn't, so either he was playing political theater when he planned to contest the election, or he's playing political theater now. He has no integrity.

That is simply not true. You can have legitimate, honest concerns about the integrity of an election AND want to make sure every single legal vote is counted fairly, no matter where it comes from. Someone who comes from a history of having artificial barriers put in place to keep them down can see that call for election integrity as code for suppression. Remember, the media and the left are repeatedly telling black communities that Republicans are racist, that Republicans want to keep them from voting, and that Republicans are the source of all their problems. If you hear it often enough you tend to start believing it - so when a Republican calls for a closer look at election results, they can honestly interpret it as an attack on their own votes, even when that's not the intention at all. It's pretty simple - this isn't good vs. evil along the lines the media and the left are trying to draw for you. The fact that the left is working so hard to silence dissent should have you wondering what they don't want you to hear.

Is it too much to ask for people to show up at the polls to vote with a legit ID? I don't think that's asking for much considering what's at stake. If someone can't go vote, then get a legit absentee ballot, but hte idea of showering the country with mail in ballots is ridiculous. If we're going to send out those mail in ballots, Why not do call in voting like American Idol, you get to vote as many times as you can dial the phone.

No backbone, no intestinal fortitude, no integrity to stand with what is right and that was to challenge the election results like he had planned on doing. Now the election will never be challenged again and the 2020 election results will always be questionable.

Every legal citizen has the right to vote and have had that right since 1965. What’s demoralizing to all Americans is when non citizens vote and there’s no way to know how many or what impact it’s had on an election.

So what, you can never verify the vote in a minority community because they might be offended. If you have nothing to hide, you would welcome verification, but these communities do not. Not sure how we are ever supposed to be confident in the vote if there are no means of verification.

Maybe if politicians would quit pandering to 13% of our population and stand up for what's right we wouldn't dislike them so much. Remind me to give a donation to whoever runs against him in the primaries.

It's so important that we set aside our reflexive defensiveness and listen to each other. The government serves the people, and it should also stimulate constructive dialog and debate. It's doing the opposite these days.

Just remember.....republicans are not necessarily conservatives. Quislings like Paul Ryan, John McCain and Mitt Romney have been among us for a long time. Their wing of the party is pro big business, big government and higher taxes, middle class be damned. Consider how the oligarchs and technocrats flocked to support Mr. Biden. The rich know he will serve them well, and some republicans of the Quisling John McCain wing of the party are right in there with them. .

Is it a conservative value to dismiss the views and perspective of those that don't agree with you. It happens on both sides, where people feel the other side isn't listening. Let's get past the initial defensiveness when we hear things we don't like, and listen a bit before we insist on pushing our views. We always want our views to be heard, so lets give others the same opportunity.

The president has the right to appeal until all avenues have been exhausted the same as Gore, Abrams, Boxer, and many others. What the governor is suggesting is criminals now lose all of their appeals? In a country where we are all equal we cannot deny others the right to appeal, and then insist on it for others.

Only those with no backbone, no principles. As usual. President Trump being proved right again. This is precisely why he was elected, because he can’t be bullied by the left. He’s NOT a politician. He fights for what he believes in. He is for the American people not the bureaucracy in Washington, D.C. The democrat electorate will learn this eventually and will rue the day they allowed the corruption of Washington, D.C. to use them like pawns to gain power.

Woke Langford needs to resign. There was absolutely no reason to apologize for contesting the election. He could have told them that evidence exists that shows the election was fraudulent, not accusing them but of those with the power to effectuate the fraud. Some of their votes were cancelled as well. Is it okay to allow fake ballots to be entered into the system, with no signature verification or voter roll verification? It was a fraud, we know it, they know too, so why succumb to the bullying and harassment. They know it works, so they will only be emboldened to do it more. Get ready folks, this is just the beginning. Hold on to your pride, and your beliefs. Don't let then bully you.

As Sen. Lankford goes on about his apology tour and expands on his dialogue with minority communities, maybe he can also give thought on how he can articulate to THEM the concerns of many conservative voters. Voter ID, elimination of ballot harvesting and consistency on absentee ballot signature matching seem like good places to start the two way dialogue. We conservatives tend to be cynical about these conversations because they always seem to be one sided - making us see the other side's points while they summarily dismiss our points as racist. Until the dialogue actually goes two ways and our side is heard, I'm not listening to anything they say - even if Sen. Lankford wants to bow to them.

There is NOTHING wrong with thoroughly investigating voter fraud allegations to determine if true or not. ONLY VALID votes should count! IF there are massive numbers of INVALID votes found then they should NOT be counted and the people involved with illegal voting should be PROSECUTED! Plain and simple - if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear!
